Biosecurity & quarantine
Incoming Passenger Cards
Passengers arriving at Perth Airport need to provide an Incoming Passenger Card which can be obtained from The Australian Government Department of Home Affairs and for up-to-date Covid-19 travel requirements.
Arriving international passengers
You must declare certain food, plant material (including wooden articles) and animal products on your Incoming Passenger Card. Items declared on your Incoming Passenger Card will be inspected to ensure they are not carrying any pests or diseases.
If you have items you don't wish to declare, you can dispose of them in bins in the terminal.
Arriving domestic passengers
Western Australia also has strict quarantine requirements to prevent the introduction of exotic pests, diseases and weeds found in other Australian states and territories.
Risk items and potential carriers that may pose a threat to Western Australia can include fresh fruit, vegetables, plant materials and bee products.
If in doubt about any item(s), declare them to a quarantine inspector, or deposit them in one of the bins available at our domestic terminals. Your baggage and hand luggage may be checked by inspectors with sniffer dogs for quarantine risk items as you collect it from the baggage carousel.
Visit the Western Australia Government Department of Agriculture website for more information.
