New Perth Airport Chief Executive Officer announced

The Board of Perth Airport is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Kevin Brown to the position of Chief Executive Officer, Perth Airport Pty Ltd. Mr Brown’s appointment follows an extensive executive search.
Mr Brown is an experienced senior executive with more than 13 years of operational and commercial experience in both hub and regional airports across the United Kingdom and Australia.
Mr Brown is currently the Chief Executive Officer, North Queensland Airports which operates Cairns and Mackay Airports. Prior to that, Mr Brown spent nine years with the British Airport Authority (BAA), most recently as Managing Director, Edinburgh International Airport.
“The appointment of Kevin Brown represents a new era for Perth Airport. Kevin brings a wealth of experience internationally and within the Australian aviation sector and has a successful track record of strategy development and delivery”, said Colin Beckett, Chairman, Perth Airport Pty Ltd.
“The Board was particularly impressed with Kevin’s leadership capabilities and commitment to growing tourism, an area of focus and opportunity in Western Australia,” he said.
Mr Brown will commence with PAPL on 18 July 2016.
